Join Central Valley Impact Republicans for our November meeting, on Monday, November 18th, at 6:30 PM. We are honored to have as our featured speaker Tom Patti, 3rd District Supervisor for San Joaquin County. Supervisor Patti will be sharing with us current updates from the Board of Supervisors, as well as issues he has been focusing on during his term.

Patti graduated from local schools and attended Delta College – and currently sits on the Board of the Delta College Foundation, which helps expand education access for local students.

With a life-time passion for giving back, Prior to being elected, Tom was active serving on the Child Abuse Prevention Council, March of Dimes and the Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee. Supervisor Patti also serves on the Board of Directors for Stockton Crime Stoppers. In 2015 Tom Patti had the honor of being selected by the African American Chamber as their “Man about Town” in recognition of his many local contributions.

Tom is a 5-time State and Golden Gloves boxing champion. He briefly considered a professional boxing career in 1986 and spent time in New York training with the legendary Cus D’Amato. He returned to California in 2001 and along with his father built Delta Cranes into the preeminent crane company in the San Joaquin Valley.

Our meeting will be held at Round Table Pizza, 150 N. Wilma Ave, Ripon CA. No-host dinner and networking will be at 5:30 PM, and the meeting with Supervisor Patti will begin at 6:30. We will also be holding our monthly raffle.

October Meeting – Sheriff Jeff Dirkse, Stanislaus County

Join Central Valley Impact Republicans for our October meeting, on Monday, October 21st, at 6:30 PM. We are honored to have as our featured speaker Jeff Dirkse, Sheriff of Stanislaus County. Sheriff Dirkse will give us an update on current issues his office is facing, along with an update on current laws relating to gun rights and the 2nd Amendment.

Sheriff Jeff Dirkse was born in Southern California and raised in Denair. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1990 and the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, in 1994, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. He subsequently served in the US Army as an Infantry Platoon Leader, Ranger Platoon Leader, Infantry Company Commander and most recently was a Watch Officer at Special Operations Command, Europe.

Sheriff Dirkse began his career in Law Enforcement in 2007 with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. He served on Patrol and as a detective in STING (Special Team Investigating Narcotics and Gangs) and Rural Crime. He promoted to Sergeant in 2013 and served on Patrol and in Internal Affairs. In 2015 he promoted to Lieutenant and was appointed as the Chief of Patterson Police Services. He manages the Explorer program and was a founding member of the Sheriff Department’s Mobile Field Force, which assists other agencies during disasters and search and rescue missions. In 2018, he was elected Sheriff of Stanislaus County in the November election.

Our meeting will be held at 5656 Pirrone Road in Salida, CA. Networking will be at 5:30 PM, and the meeting with Sheriff Dirkse will begin at 6:30. We will also be holding our monthly raffle.

September Meeting: CA 10 Congressional Endorsement

Join Central Valley Impact Republicans for our very FIRST meeting, on Monday, September 16th, at 6:30 PM. At this meeting, we will be hearing from the three Republican candidates for the 10th Congressional District, which covers San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties. The candidates are:

  • Bob Elliott, San Joaquin County Supervisor
  • Ted Howze, former Turlock City Councilman
  • Marla Livengood, Regulatory Affairs Manager for the CA Strawberry Commission

Candidates will be addressing our group and will be answering questions. After they speak, our club members will be voting on which candidate our club will endorse for this election.
