Join Central Valley Impact Republicans for our next meeting on Monday, May 17th. Our meeting will be at 6:30 PM, and will be held at a private location in Modesto, CA. Our special guest is Terry Withrow, Stanislaus County Supervisor for District 3.

Terry Withrow has lived in the Modesto area most of his life. He attended St. Stanislaus School and Central Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from California State University, Stanislaus in 1982.

He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1984. Withrow Koftinow & Baggett, LLP is a full service accounting firm located in downtown Modesto that is committed to delivering value to businesses and individuals. WKB has been serving the Central Valley since 1990. He also farms almonds and grapes.

Terry has been active in our community over the last 30 years. He helped found St. Luke’s Family Practice and the Stanislaus County Farmland Trust. He is also a past board member of Woodland Avenue Fire District, Gallo Center for the Arts, Central Catholic High School and the Stanislaus County Assessment Appeals Board. Mr. Withrow began his first term as Stanislaus County’s Supervisor for District 3 on January 4, 2011.

August Meeting – Jim Ridenour, nominee for State Senate

Jim Ridenour is a former Modesto Police Chief and also served as Mayor of Modesto from 2003-2012. During his tenure as Mayor, Jim also served as President of the League of California Cities. He currently is employed part-time in the evidence and property division of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, and formerly was an executive of an ambulance company. The 5th State Senate district covers all of San Joaquin County, plus Galt, Riverbank, and portions of Modesto.

Following their presentations, CVIR members will be voting to endorse one of these candidates for the November election.

June Meeting – Kevin Lincoln, Stockton Mayoral Candidate

Born in Stockton, Kevin Lincoln was raised in an Army family and was inspired to serve others. Throughout his youth, Kevin served in many community outreach programs providing food and clothes to the homeless and those in need. Kevin also volunteered at the California Youth Authority where he spoke to and encouraged youth in the juvenile justice system.

With a desire to serve his Country, Kevin joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in 2001 and began his training at the military police academy. Kevin was later recruited by the White House Military Office and assigned to Marine One, where he would serve President George W. Bush.

Following his service in the military, Kevin worked for one of the nation’s top private security companies for eight years in the Silicon Valley. He would ultimately serve as District Manager, responsible for an annual budget of over 55 million, a district support staff of 22 personnel and a total employee base of over 1300.

Education is very important to Kevin. Over the years he has pursued his educational goals while working full-time. Kevin has an Associates of Arts in Business, Bachelors of Science in Business Management, and a Masters Degree In Executive Leadership. Kevin and his wife Bonnie have been married for 17 years and have two wonderful children.

The Legacy Republican Alliance (LRA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the presence and engagement of Black Americans and the African diaspora in the Republican Party and in our nation’s political system. The LRA is a direct reflection of the Republican Party’s founding principles of empowering Black Americans in our nation’s political system. We will work to keep the Black community informed through political education and provide resources for Black Republicans who seek elected office at all levels of government.

Corrin Rankin is a conservative thought leader and President of the Legacy Republican Alliance. A native of Redwood City, California, Corrin served as chairwoman of the California Bail Agents Association for two years and as a member of CBAA in various capacities for over 15 years. A former business owner, Rankin served as the statewide director for African-American’s for Trump in 2016 and as a national media surrogate, delegate and deputy whip to the Republican National Committee in Cleveland. She formed the Legacy Republican Alliance to foster Black conservative leadership and to provide the Black Community with a means to meaningfully impact their government and the political landscape.

Join us on Thursday, January 23rd, at 6:30 PM, at the Central Valley Event Center, located at 5682 Pirrone Road in Salida. All individuals who are Republican candidates running for office in Stanislaus County are welcome to address our members.

Candidates running for the following offices have been invited to participate in the Forum:

  • State Assembly – District 12
  • Superior Court Judge – Office 2
  • Superior Court Judge – Office 5
  • Superior Court Judge – Office 6
  • County Supervisor – District 1
