Central Valley Impact Republicans will be holding a candidate forum for Republican candidates running in San Joaquin County on the March 3, 2020, primary ballot. Join us on Tuesday, January 21st, at 6:30 PM, at Cancun Restaurant, located at 135 E. Miner Ave. in Stockton. All individuals who are Republican candidates running for office in San Joaquin County are welcome to address our members.
Candidates running for the following offices have been invited to participate in the Forum:
- U.S. Representative – District 9
- State Senate – District 5
- State Assembly – District 12
- Superior Court Judge
- Board of Education – Trustee Area 3
- Board of Education – Trustee Area 4
- County Supervisor – District 3
- County Supervisor – District 5
- Stockton Mayor
- Stockton City Council – District 6
Following the candidate forum, dues-paying members of Impact Republicans will vote on which candidates our club will endorse in the March 3rd primary. Per our club bylaws, only members who have signed up prior than 60 days before the meeting (November 22, 2019) will be eligible to vote on endorsements. Members who joined prior to this date who have not renewed their 2020 dues can renew their dues at the meeting and will be eligible to vote.
Social hour and networking will be at 5:30 PM, and the candidate forum will begin at 6:30. We will also be holding our monthly raffle. Join us on January 21st, and don’t miss this chance to hear from the Republican candidates running to represent YOU in San Joaquin County!
